Celebrity chef Kelsey Nixon has many inspiring ideas to make fresh recipes from old recipe and now she wants to inspire you through Hungry Jack Use up the Box Recipe Contest. You can get $6,000 for one year’s worth of groceries by participating in this contest. Grab this chance and get relief from tension of expensiveness by showing off your creativity in kitchen through this contest.

Limit: One entry per person/e-mail address per recipe category, regardless of method of entry. Entrant must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Participants need to select one recipe category from categories like Brunch, Comfort Food, Appetizers, and Sweet Treats. They need to use one of the Hungry Jack products such as 1 cup dry mix Pancake and Waffle Mix (including Potato Pancake Mix); ¼ cup Microwaveable Syrup; 1 cup dry or 1 cup prepared Instant Mashed Potatoes; 1 carton Hashbrown Potatoes; and 1 box Casserole Potatoes; to make their recipe. Recipe will be unique means an original work created by the participants.

Participants can enter the sweepstakes by two ways such as online and by mail. In first way, visit www.useupthebox.com, complete the entry form by providing required information such as name, address, city, state, zip code, email address, date of birth, phone number, and agree rules. Then, click on next option, submit your recipe with its name under proper category, and enter the name of Hungry Jack product that has been used to make this recipe. After that confirm your entry form and submit it during promotion period.

In second way, hand-print or type your name, date of birth, complete address, daytime and evening phone numbers, e-mail address on a piece of paper along with your original recipe, the recipe name, name of Hungry Jack product, and the recipe category, and mail it in a standard, business-size envelope to: Hungry Jack Use Up The Box Recipe Contest, C/O Cohn & Wolfe, 200 Fifth Avenue, Floor 7, New York, NY 10010.

One grand prize and two runner-up prizes will be awarded in each category. Each grand prize winner will receive $6,000 in the form of a check for one year’s worth of groceries. Each runner-up will receive one Gift Basket of Hungry Jack brand products (ARV: $100).

Customers can win one daily prize by participating in Online Voting during promotion period. Daily prize winner will be selected in a random drawing every day and will be informed by mail. Each daily prize winner will receive a selection of Hungry Jack brand products (ARV: $25).
