Expeditions.com Make the Arctic Possible Contest

Difficulty Level : Moderate ( 3 out of 5 ) Svalbard is considered the best place to see polar bears in the Arctic wilderness. Get a chance to discover & observe polar bears and the other unique creatures of the Arctic ice by winning an 11-day expedition for two to Svalbard aboard the National Geographic Explorer. All you have to do is record a video expressing why you love the Arctic to enter into the Make the Arctic Possible Contest for your chance to win.

Limit: Age limit to enter the Contest is 18 years or above. One entry per person is allowed throughout the Promotion Period.

How to Enter

You need to Record a video (max. 1 minute) that expresses why you love the Arctic, how this trip would change your view to the Arctic, and what stories you would bring back from the Arctic. Once recorded, upload your video to the social media platform: Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or Vimeo.

After that, visit www.expeditions.com/win-the-arctic and submit the registration form along with a link to your video from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube or Vimeo. You will receive one entry into the Contest.

Judging:

On or about March 31, 2019, the Sponsor will judge all eligible Submissions based on the following criteria:

Passion: How you express the love that you feel for the Arctic (40%)
Share: What story will you bring back (30%)
Conserve: How will your actions change and how will you be transformed (30%)

The 10 Submissions with the highest scores will be the finalists. All Finalists entries will be re-judged by an additional panel of judges. The Submission with the highest score will be the Grand Prize Winner.

(1) Grand Prize: An 11-day expedition for two to Svalbard aboard the National Geographic Explorer (ARV: $21,700 USD)

The Expedition includes:

Economy airfare two
11 nights lodging aboard the National Geographic Explorer (Category 1 cabin) for the Land of Ice Bears expedition
Includes all meals and beverages aboard ship, all shore excursions and sightseeing, transfers between airports/hotel/ship, tips, taxes and service charges, services of a physician and services of Sponsor’s expedition staff
