Limit
Each entrant can get one entry during the contest period. You must be aged between 13 and 19 years old and in the 9th through 12th grade during the 2019-2020 school year at an accredited school.
How to Enter Disney Dreamers Academy Essay Contest
Visit www.disneydreamersacademy.com and download the application form. After that, follow the below process to submit your form.
- Online Registration: An Entrant must have an online Disney account. Then, visit the website given above, and click the “Apply Now” button. Entrants will need to log in using their Disney account username or e-mail address and password; or, if Entrant does not have an online Disney account, they will need to create an account. follow the instructions on the online application form in its entirety, including but not limited to, providing their name, date of birth, gender (optional), preferred gender pronoun, complete street address (no P.O. Boxes allowed), phone number, valid email address, name of school or “home-school” (as applicable) and school’s city, state, zip code and phone number (if applicable), and grade level. CONSENT OF PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN: Each Entrant, regardless of whether or not they are a minor in their state of residence, must have their parent/legal guardian complete the application form, which requires the parent/legal guardian to provide their complete name, valid email address, phone number, complete street address (no P.O. Boxes allowed), and relationship to Entrant. An email will be sent to each Entrant’s parent/legal guardian to obtain their authorization for the Entrant’s participation in the Contest.
- Mail-In Registration: An Entrant must follow the instructions on the application form, including typing or legibly printing their name, date of birth, gender (optional), preferred gender pronoun, complete street address (no P.O. Boxes allowed), phone number, valid email address, name of the school or “home-school” (as applicable) and school’s city, state, zip code and phone number (if applicable), and grade level in the registration form and mail it to the following address- Probability LLC, Attn: Disney Dreamers Academy Essay Contest 2024 Entry, PO Box 603, Social Circle, GA 30025, and must be received by October 31, 2024.
Each participant must submit two separate essays and two separate answers to rapid-fire question writing in response to the questions below either online or by mail-in process.
Two Essays Questions:
- Essay Question 1 – Describe a moment(s) in your life that has shaped who you are today and explain how it has influenced your personal growth.
- Essay Question 2 – What's your dream career? How do you plan to make a difference or innovate in that field? What challenges are you facing in reaching this dream, and how are you working to overcome them?
Two Rapid Fire questions:
- Rapid Fire Question 1 – Tell us why you want to be a Disney Dreamer.
- Rapid Fire Question 2 – Which Disney story inspires you the most and why? Could be from a movie, book, or even an experience while visiting the theme parks.
Each Essay may not exceed 1,200 characters; each question may not exceed 600 characters.
Disney Dreamers Academy Essay Contest Winner Selection
- Round 1: On or about November 14, 2024, a total of 400 participants will be selected based on following judging criteria: (i) How the Entrant's quality of character is showcased through their Essays (40%); ii) How the Entrant's positive attitude is showcased through their Essays (40%); iii) Sincerity of Essays (10%); and iv) Best fit for the Academy based on the Essays (10%).
- Round 2: On or about November 14, 2024, a total of 100 final winners will be selected according to the following criteria: (i) How the Entrant's quality of character is showcased through their Essays (40%); ii) How the Entrant's positive attitude is showcased through their Essays (40%); iii) Sincerity of Essays (10%); and (iv) Best fit for the Academy based on the Essays (10%).
On or about December 2, 2024, the Entrants who have submitted the One Hundred (100) highest-rated Contest Submissions will be deemed to be the potential Contest winners and they will be notified by email, postal mail, telephone, or overnight courier.
Disney Dreamers Academy Essay Contest Prizes
100 Contest Grand Prizes: Each winner will receive a Trip for two to Disney Dreamers Academy which is to be scheduled on or about March 26-30, 2025 at Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, Florida (ARV: $4,148 for each)
Each trip consists of:
- 2 Round-trip coach air transportation;
- 2 Round-trip ground transportation
- 5-day/4 night hotel accommodations (one standard room/double occupancy);
- A total of 4 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 3 dinners for 2 people;
- Admission for the Contest Winner to all Academy events
- Admission for the Contest Winner to all Academy events; ground transportation to and from such events;
- Admission for the Contest Winner and their guest to the Walt Disney World® theme parks as needed to attend the Academy events and for general admission.
