Blended Burger Cash Contest 2020

Due to COVID-19, we all are stuck at home and practicing social distancing. During this quarantine period, your cooking skills could make you win $10,000. The mushroom council blended burger contest is back for 2nd consecutive year just in the time of grilling season to find the most delicious homemade blended burger. Just, share the recipe and a photo of your custom blended burger to win $10,000 cash.

Limit: Age requirement to enter the Contest is at least 18 years. Only one entry per person is allowed for Contest.

How to Enter: 

Make a custom-blended burger recipe at home with a 75:25 meat to mushroom ratio in the patty. Now, visit www.bonappetit.com/story/blendedburgercontest and submit the entry form with the required details, the recipe of your custom blended burger, image, and link to your Instagram account. You will receive one entry into the Contest. You may share the picture of your blended burger on Instagram using the hashtag #BlendedBurgerContest.

Finalists Selection:

On or about July 8, 2020, a panel of judges will score entries based on the following criteria: Proportionality: the Burger Blend being 75:25 meat to mushrooms (50%), and Culinary Creativity (which includes three (3) factors of originality, presentation, and flavor profile) (50%).

The three entries with the highest score will be the potential finalists to move onto the next round

Winner Selection

Chris Morocco will recreate the finalists’ recipes on camera using their submission directions. The finalists will get a chance to watch him live via remote video chat. He will judge the entries based on the following criteria: Replicability (50%), and Taste (50%). The entry with the highest score will be the grand prize winner
