But you need to know how to do it safely and responsibly. Trend Micro is sponsoring its third annual “What’s Your Story?” video contest to offer you a chance to win $10,000USD or $1,000USD. This sweepstakes is conducted to help others in staying safe, smart and responsible online. You need to create inspiring, informative and original videos and submit them to enter the contest. What are you waiting for? Just enter the contest to help others in having safe online.
Limit: One entry per theme, per individual participant/school participant; maximum of three submissions per individual participant/school participant. Participants must be 13 years old or older at the time of entry and should not formerly won a prize in this Contest in the past 5 years.
Visit http://whatsyourstory.trendmicro.com, follow the instructions and provide the required information to upload a video and complete the submission form and submit it. You can choose one of the three themes such as Take action against bullying; Keep a good rep online; and Be cell smart to make video. You can enter the sweepstakes three times by submitting three videos as per three themes.
After submission of form, it will be posted on the website for rating from registered members of the website. Top five submissions from individual participants and top five submissions from school participants in every theme will be selected at the end of the public viewing period. Finalists will be informed on or about May 8, 2012 by phone, mail or email.
One Grand Prize winner, three runners-up from all eligible individual finalists’ submissions; and three runners-up from all eligible school finalists' submissions, will be selected during the Final Judging Period on the basis of judging criteria such as 50% for creativity; 25% for appropriateness; and 25% for effectiveness. Winners will be informed on or about May 8, 2012.
Grand prize winner will receive $10,000 USD or equivalent in Canadian Dollars.
Six Runner-Up prize winners will each receive $1,000 USD or equivalent Canadian Dollars.
