Vanna's Choice Contest

Difficulty Level : Moderate ( 2 out of 5 ) Everyone is an expert in something. But somebody doesn’t know how to show their special skill. Have you ever wished that you had some kind of special talent or expertise which could help you to make a lot of money? To inspire knitters for showcasing their best skill of yarn knit, Lion Brand's Vanna's Choice Yarn and an American icon Vanna White are teaming up another time to have their knitting based Vanna's Choice Contest. Start to knit crochet or craft project using Vanna's Choice Yarn and submit it online or mail for the contest. One best yarn craft created knitter will get a chance to fly for Los Angeles trip to meet Vanna White in person and one play to win $100,000 cash prize.

Limit: Entrant may receive number of entries that they want. Entrants should be reached at the legal age of majority in their state or province of residence.

To compete in the contest, you have to create your yarn creation using Vanna’s Choice, Vanna’s Choice Baby or Vanna’s Glamour® yarn. Then capture a photograph of your knit, crochet or craft item and submit it either online or mail for the contest entry.

Online: To submit a photograph of your creation, visit VannasChoice.com and follow the instructions. Upload a picture of your entry and complete all required information.

Mail: Download an entry form from VannasChoice.com and complete it. Then mail it to: Lion Brand Yarn Company, Attn: Vanna’s Choice Contest, 135 Kero Road, Carlstadt, NJ 07072, with your project photograph.

All accepted entries will be judged based on judging criteria and select the top four entries. The highest scored entries will be posted on the VannasChoice.com for public voting. Online voting will kick off in April 2012 and runs until May 2012.

From four, the highest number of votes will be announced as the grand prize winner.

As grand prize, winner will receive a Los Angeles trip for two to meet Vanna White plus play for a chance to win $100,000 cash.

To play for the $100,000, a randomly selected winner will be provided 100 sealed envelopes to select any one from them. In all 100 envelopes, any one envelope will contain a Grand Prize winning message and other 99 envelopes will contain consolation prize message. If selected envelope is containing the Grand Prize winning message, he/she will win the grand prize. Consolation prizes include gift cards.

Other highest scoring entrants will receive prizes of:

First prize winner: $1,000 cash
Second prize winner: $500 cash
Third prize winner: $100 Michaels Gift Card
