The biggest fish in this pond will be a virtual consultation with John Gidding, the designer, and the former host of the HGTV Show- 'Curb Appeal', who will aid you with an artistic makeover of the entrance area, plus, a free installation allowance, and a home improvement free shopping spree gift card for the children to veer the path of succession. The eligible entrants should be 21 years or older at the time of entry. There is no limit to the number of Entries that may be submitted in this Contest.

How to Enter USA Today Masonite Back To School Contest

An Entrant should log on to usatoday.secondstreetapp.com/Masonite-New-Grade-Upgrade/rounds/1/gallery/ during the Contest Period and complete the applicable registration form. Entrant must provide all requested information in the required fields and upload a photo that includes the elements detailed below:

Photo Elements Required:

• Contain a school-age child or children; the Entrant should be the parents or legal guardians of the child(ren);
• A clearly visible door that the Entrant would like to upgrade; and
• Photo from the 2022 school year or any year prior.

Release Form Submission: The Entrant will also be required to submit a signed release form for each individual who is identifiable in the Photo being submitted; There are 2 methods for submitting the Release Form: 1) download the Release Form from the Website; print the Release Form; have it signed by the appropriate individuals; scan or photograph the signed Release Form, and upload the signed Release Form; or 2) download the Release Form from the Website; have the appropriate individuals electronically sign the Release Form by entering their names in the appropriate spaces; save the signed Release Form; and upload the signed Release Form.

USA Today Masonite New Grade Upgrade Sweepstakes Winner Selection

Contest Judging: During the Judging Period (September 12, 2022 - September 16, 2022), A panel of third-party judges will evaluate, and score all eligible Entries based on the following criteria:

• Visual appeal and overall impact of the Photo and adherence to the Contest’s back to school theme (60%);
• Expressiveness of child or children in the Photo (20%); and
• Front door most in need of replacement (20%).

A total of 10 Photos will be selected based on the judging criteria; the Photo with the highest score will be named as ‘Grand Prize’ winner, and the next 9 photos with the maximum score will be named as ‘First Prize’ winners.

USA Today Masonite New Grade Upgrade Sweepstakes Prizes

1 Grand Prize: The winner will receive a prize package consisting of the following:

• New Masonite Performance Door System (ARV up to $5,000);
• Entry makeover virtual consultation by designer John Gidding, the former host of HGTV’s “Curb Appeal” (ARV: $9,000);
• Installation allowance or direct coordination of the installation paid directly to the contractor (ARV up to $1,000); and
• $1,000 home improvement gift card so that the Grand Prize Winner can complete the curb appeal work (ARV: $1,000).

The ARV of the Grand Prize Package is $16,000.

9 First Prizes: Each winner will receive the following prize package consisting of:

• New Masonite Performance Door System (ARV up to $5,000); and
• Installation allowance or direct coordination of the installation paid directly to the contractor (ARV up to $1,000).
