Limit

The eligible entrants should be of the age of majority in the state in which they reside and are school foodservice operators at the time of entry. There is a limit of 1 entry per person per day.

How to Enter Tyson foodservice Cash Giveaway

• Online: Go to tysonfoodservice.com/who-we-serve/k-12/2024-k-12-hunger-heroes-entry-page, complete the entry form with your first and last name, title, email address, school name and address, school district name and follow the on-screen instructions to upload your story and additional information if submitting on behalf of someone else.
• Submission Requirements: The Entry should be about yourself or someone in your school nutrition program that has gone above and beyond to enhance your school nutrition program and bring a smile to a child’s face while serving nutritious and delicious meals.

Tyson K-12 Hunger Heroes Contest Winner Selection

At the end of the Contest Period, Tyson K-12 representatives will select 5 finalists from all Eligible Entries received. Each of the five finalists will come from one of five U.S. Regions as defined below:

• Northeast: PA, NJ, OH, MI, IN, KY, CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT, NY.
• Southeast: FL, AL, TN, MS, SC, NC, GA, DE, MD, D.C. VA, WV.
• Mountain Central: OK, AR, LA, MO, KS, NE, IA, MN, ND, SD, IL, WI, CO, UT, WY, MT.
• Southwest: TX, NM, AZ.
• West: CA, NV, OR, WA, ID, AK, HI.

The criteria for choosing the five finalists will encompass the positive impact each finalist had on (1) their students (50%) and (2) the school’s nutrition program (50%).

Winners will be announced through the TysonK12Schools social media accounts, on tysonfoodservice.com and the Cool School Café newsletter.

Tyson K-12 Hunger Heroes Contest Prize

5 Grand Prizes: Each winner will receive Hunger Hero prizes of caps, socks and aprons for themselves and their team (up to 50 people) valued at $1,650 and the school district foodservice department will be awarded a $5,000 grant to be used for their school foodservice program (ARV: $33,250).
