This Old House Reader Remodel Contest

Difficulty Level : Very Hard ( 5 out of 5 ) This Old House's aim is to show up the home improvement process and rejoice the combination of old world craftsmanship and modern technology. Have you modified your home, kitchen or bathroom? If yes, then good news for you! This Old House magazine is sponsoring This Old House 2016 Reader Remodel Contest to offer you a chance to land on the cover of the October issue and to win $10,000, or $1,000 for remodel your kitchen, bath, yard, curb appeal, bedroom/living room/dining room, and family room/attic/basement. You just need to submit the photographs of your completed Reader Remodel, and description of the project to participate in this contest.

Limit: One entry per person per email address during the promotion period. Participants must be 19 years of old or older at the time of entry.

You can enter the contest by two ways such as online and by mail. In first way, visit thisoldhouse.com/yourTOH, follow the instructions, and complete the entry form by providing required information such as name, address, city, state, zip code, email address, photographs of your completed Reader Remodel, and description of the project, then submit it during promotion period.

One Grand prize winner and five Runner-up prize winners will be selected on the basis of judging criteria such as 25% for Photogenic Qualities; 50% for Overall Charm and Appeal of Project; 20% for Appropriateness to Contest Theme; and 5% for Transformation from Before to After. Winners will be contacted on or before May 10, 2013 by email or telephone.

Grand prize winner will receive $10,000 and have their home photographed to appear in This Old House magazine and on thisoldhouse.com.

Runner-up prize winners will each receive a prize worth of $1,000 and appear in This Old House magazine and on thisoldhouse.com.
