Sutter Home's Build a Better Burger Contest 2012

Sutter Home has invited fans of its wines to submit their favorite burger recipes in a national competition for the past 20 years. Sutter Home's Build a Better Burger Contest 2012 offers you a chance to win $100,000, $15,000, $500, or $250 and if your burger would be liked by public then you will also receive $2,500. You need to share your original, most-delicious, and favorite burger recipe to enter in the contest. Do not miss this opportunity! Enter the contest and try your luck.

Limit: Limit is not specified in this contest. Participants must be 21 years old or older at the time of entry.

You can enter the sweepstakes by two ways such as online, and by mail. In first way, visit www.sutterhome.com, click on the contest icon, follow the links and instructions, and complete the entry form by providing required information such as name, date of birth, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, email address, select category from Beef Burger or Alternative Burger, and your original recipe of burger as per the category then submit it during promotion period.

In second way, write your name, date of birth, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, email address, category Beef Burger or Alternative Burger, and your original recipe of burger on an 8 1⁄2 x 11-inch piece of paper, and mail it before September 3, 2012 to: Build a Better Burger Contest 2012, P.O. Box 844, St. Helena, CA 94574.

Ten finalists (five from each category) will be selected on the basis of judging criteria such as creativity, taste, and visual appeal from among all eligible entries received during entry period. Finalists will be informed on or about October 22, 2012. As Finalists clear the review process, they will be announced as the Cook-Off Finalists. Finalists will be officially contacted by the last week of November 2012 and receive instructions to compete in the Cook-Off Finals in Napa Valley, California on May 18, 2013.

Finalists will each receive a trip for two to the event that includes airfare; 4 nights’ hotel accommodation; and $330 in cash (ARV: $3,780 each).

Winners of Cook-Off Finals:

One Grand prize winner for the Best Beef Burger will receive $100,000.
One best Alternative Burger winner will receive $15,000.
One First Runner-Up for both Best Beef and Best Alternative Burgers will each receive $500.
One Second Runner-Up for both Best Beef and Best Alternative Burgers will each receive $250.

People’s Choice Award:

Public will vote their favorite burger from each category. One winner from each category will each receive $2,500.
