How to Participate in StarKist Mashup Challenge Contest:

Contest Entry Period: January 22, 2025 – February 18, 2025

To enter, create a “Mashup” recipe using at least two StarKist Creations pouches and one other ingredient. Submit an original photo, drawing, painting, or video of your recipe with a caption (max 300 characters) naming your creation and listing the product flavors. Post your submission on Instagram with the hashtag #StarKistMashupContest and tag @StarKistCharlie.

StarKist Mashup Challenge Contest Judging:

Judging Period/Finalist Selection: February 18, 2025 – February 26, 2025

A panel of judges will evaluate all eligible submissions based on Creativity/Originality (40%), Visual Appeal (40%), and Name of Mashup Recipe (20%) to determine the top 10 highest-scoring entries. These Finalists will move to the Public Voting phase. In case of a tie, Creativity/Originality scores will be used as the tiebreaker, followed by Visual Appeal if needed. If a Finalist is disqualified or unwilling to participate, the next highest-scoring entry will be selected.

StarKist Mashup Challenge Contest Voting:

Public Voting/Voting Sweepstakes Period: February 26, 2025 – March 13, 2025

Voters must be 18+ years old and legal residents of the 48 contiguous U.S. or D.C. To vote, visit the Website during the Public Voting Period, submit your name and email, and cast one vote per day for the best Finalist based on the Judging Criteria. Each vote also earns one entry into the Voting Sweepstakes.

After the Voting Period, the Sponsor will review votes and determine final scores. The Finalist with the highest score will be deemed the First Prize winner, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. The next two highest-scoring Finalists will be the potential winners of the Second and Third prizes.

StarKist Mashup Challenge Sweepstakes Winner Announcement:

Voting Sweepstakes prize winner will be selected randomly on or about March 19, 2025 from all eligible entries.

StarKist Mashup Challenge Contest Prizes:

One First Prize winner will win their choice of trip for two to Austin, TX for the 2025 Austin Food & Wine Festival (November 2025).

Trip Includes:

• Round-trip coach airfare from a major airport near the winner’s home.
• Two VIP tickets to the festival.
• Four-night hotel Stay
• $250 prepaid card for ground transportation and incidentals.
• Winner is encouraged to document and share content from their trip with the Sponsor.

ARV: $5,000

if the winner is under 21 age, then they will receive $5,000 check.

One Second prize winner will win $3,000 prepaid card.

One Third prize winner will win $1,000 prepaid card.

One Voting Sweepstakes Prize winner will win:

• $1,000 prepaid card
