Smucker Company offers quality products that bring shoppers’ families together to share unforgettable meals and moments. You can win a family reunion as a check for $20,000 and a personal planner for a family reunion awarded as a check for $1,000 or one Gift Basket of Smucker's brand products through spreading smucker’s traditions recipe and essay contest. So start writing about how the recipe is part of your family tradition and how the recipe makes family celebrations special to grab this amazing chance.

Limit: One entry per person/e-mail address, regardless of method of entry. Entrant must 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Participants can enter the contest by two ways such as online, and by mail. In first way, visit www.smuckers.com or www.smuckersenespanol.com, complete the entry form by providing required information such as name, email address, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, and date of birth, then write an essay that describes how the recipe is part of your family tradition and how the recipe makes family celebrations special and click on continue option. After that enter ingredients, and preparation of your original family recipe that is made with at least a ¼ cup of Smucker’s Jam, jelly, preserves, fruit spread, or fruit butter. Then confirm your entry and submit it during promotion period.

In second way, hand-print or type your name, date of birth, complete address, daytime and evening phone numbers, e-mail address, and include your original family recipe, recipe name, and your original essay, then mail it in a standard, business-size envelope to: Spreading Smucker’s Traditions Recipe and Essay Contest, C/O Cohn & Wolfe, 200 Fifth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10010.

Five finalists will be selected on or about January 11, 2012 by a qualified panel of judges as per judging criteria. After the completion of final judging, the Finalist with the most points will be announced as the Grand Prize winner on or about February 8, 2012. The five Finalists will be informed by telephone or mail.

One grand prize winner will receive a family reunion as a check for $20,000 and a personal planner for a family reunion awarded as a check for $1,000.

Five finalists will receive one Gift Basket of Smucker's brand products (ARV: $100 each).
