Scotch Make Amazing Contest

Difficulty Level : Very Hard ( 4 out of 5 ) 3M Company and Brit Morin (DIY expert and Brit + Co. founder) have partnered to find the nation's best and most innovative users of Scotch Tape. If you think you are creative, the show off your creativity by making something amazing using Scotch Brand products and win $5,000 cash prize.

Limit: You must be at least 16 years of age to enter the contest. You are allowed to submit five submissions per category during the Submission Phase.

There are two ways to enter the Contest:

Website: During the Submission Phase (June 3 to August 3, 2014), access scotchbrand.com/makeamazingcontest and follow the instructions to submit the registration form, including which category you want to be entered into and a valid home address. After that, follow the directions to upload a photo (in .jpg or .png format) that displays something you created using any Scotch Brand product that falls into one of the three Categories: Amazing Art, Maker Masterpieces or Education Creations along with a short description of the photo, including the name of the Scotch Brand product used to create the work in your photo.

Instagram: During the Submission Phase (June 3 to August 3, 2014), log-on to your Instagram account and upload a photo (in .jpg or .png format) that displays something you created using any Scotch Brand product that falls into one of the three Categories: Amazing Art, Maker Masterpieces or Education Creations. Your submission must include the hashtag #MakeAmazingContest and one of the following hashtags: #AmazingArt, #MakerMasterpieces, or #EducationCreations along with a short description of the photo, including the name of the Scotch Brand product used to create the work in your photo.

During the Judging Phase (August 4 to August 6, 2014), a panel of judges will 30 entrants (10 per Category) on the basis of Creativity and Originality (50%), Quality and Aesthetic of the Project (30%) and Fit to Contest Theme (20%).

During the Voting Phase (August 7 to August 24, 2014), all the 30 Finalists' Submissions will be posted in an online gallery for public voting at scotchbrand.com/makeamazingcontest.
The 3 Finalists in each Category whose Submission receives the highest number of votes will advance to the Final Independent Judging phase.

During the Final Independent Judging (August 25 to August 28, 2014), qualified judge will select 3 Grand prize winners (one in each Category) on the basis of Creativity and Originality (60%) and Quality and Aesthetic (40%). The remaining six Finalists will be determined as First Prize winner.

Grand Prizes (3 - 1 per category): $5,000 cash. (ARV: $5,000)

First Prizes (6 - 2 per category): A Scotch Brand prize pack. (ARV: $200)
