Visit PetSmartChiefToyTester.com and complete the on-screen entry form presented. In addition to providing your contact information, you will be required to provide links to your TikTok and Instagram accounts (required to have active TikTok and Instagram accounts at the time of entry (Accounts must be set to public and not private), to upload a photo, and a 10 to 30 second video of your individual pet (Dog or Cat only) that you own and a story (200 words or less) describing your Pet’s favorite toy.

PetSmart 2024 Chief Toy Tester Contest Winner Selection

• All Entries will be judged and scored by a panel of judges, based on the following judging criteria: 33% Creativity and Originality of Entry; 34% Visual Appeal/Quality of Entry; and 33% Writing Style and Descriptive Language. The 4 Entries with the highest scores [2 cats and 2 dogs], as determined by the Judges, will be deemed the Finalists.
• After the Finalist determination is complete, each of the 4 Finalists will be subject to a virtual interview conducted again by the panel of judges to determine 1 Dog Winner and 1 Cat Winner.

PetSmart 2024 Chief Toy Tester Contest Prizes

2 Grand Prizes (1 Dog Owner Winner & 1 Cat Owner Winner): Each winner will receive a year long (12 months) contract with PetSmart for the Winner’s Pet to be a PetSmart “Chief Toy Tester.”

The prize includes $10,000 cash, awarded as a $2,500 check issued quarterly, 40,000 PetSmart Treats membership rewards points issued quarterly, and yearly access to select toys, treats, services, events, and a feature on in-store signage.

The total ARV of each prize is $11,000.
