Pediped Casting Call 2011 Contest

Difficulty Level : Moderate ( 2 out of 5 ) Do you have an all-around lovable child with cute smile and pretty cheeks? Did you ever wish to get your kid into modeling? And do you wish to see your child as the next pediped star? If yes, then must try your luck in first annual casting call contest of pediped. Pediped Casting Call 2011 Contest gives this excellent chance. Pediped, the award winning children’s footwear company is hosting this contest to find the next star for their national advertising campaign. You should have to upload a photo of your child on pediped.com. May be you will get an opportunity to win the grand prize of $750 pediped gift card and a trip for you and your child to Las Vegas for the pediped photo shoot.

Limit: Entry in this Contest is open only for legal guardians or parents of a child having age between 1 day and 96 months on 7th September, 2011. Legal age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence is also compulsory to enter. At least 18 years age of entrant is compulsory.

To participate in this contest, visit http://www.pediped.com/castingcalllanding.aspx during the Submission Period. Click the “Submit a Photo” button, and then upload and submit photo of your child by following the directions. Entry in this Contest is free. Follow the directions to upload your child’s photo in 1 of the subsequent categories based on her/his/their age: 1) Originals - age 0 to 12 months; 2) Grip n Go - 13 to 24 months; 3) Flex - 25 to 96 months. Then complete all required information on the online registration form. Do your Submission before 11:59 pm PT, 20th September, 2011 which is ending of the Submission Period.

Only recent photos of child which can portray the actually facade of child at the time of the Contest will be allowed for the Contest. Your all photos must be in Gif, JPEG or PNG format. Each submission requires the picture of the child, one parent and the image of participant’s own pet.

To vote your favorite submission in each Walking Stage, visit http://www.pediped.com/castingcalllanding.aspx, during the Voting Period. Voting period starts at 12:01 pm PT on 21st September, 2011 and ends at 11:59 pm PT on 2nd October, 2011. Click on the "Vote" button and then accept requests for permissions. One person can give only one vote per photo, per day.

From all received eligible Submissions, potential prize winners will be selected by the panel of five judges: Ali Landry, Laila Ali, Robert Yang, Angela Edgeworth, and Noelle Heffernan. They will judge the Eligible Submissions by use of some subjective criteria such as (1) expressiveness and cuteness of the child in the photo; (2) consistency with brand equity of pediped footwear and corporate image.

One Grand Prize winner will get a $750 gift certificate to be used on www.pediped.com. At exclusive judgment of pediped, Grand Prize recipient will have the opportunity for their child to appear in 1 or more pediped advertisements in future. And for that event, Grand Prize will also include travel expenditures to any related photo shoot for one parent and child. ARV of Grand Prize is $2,000.

3 walking stage winners, 1 per each walking stage, will be chosen based on the votes given by the public in the duration of Voting Period. This Runner-up Winners will not get a monetary or physical award, but winning photos may be exhibited on website of pediped footwear.
