Mini DefyLabels Contest

Difficulty Level : Very Hard ( 4 out of 5 ) After great success of the newest ad campaign “Defy Labels”, MINI has launched the #DefyLabels Contest aimed to identify and reward exceptional people in local communities. These are people who have chosen an unexpected path in life and proven that they can defy labels. In the contest, you can nominate yourself or someone else who are creative and a goal-setter and contributed to their community in unexpected ways. Four Finalists will get opportunity to join the MINI TAKES THE STATES kick-off and participate with MINI in the rally whereas grand-prize winner will receive a two-year lease of a MINI Clubman.

Limit: Per day, per person, one entry is allowed for the sweepstakes. Entrant must be 18 years old or older at the time of entry.

How to enter the Contest?

During the nomination period, visit contest page at MINI-DefyLabels.com and nominate candidates by uploading photo and up to a 50-word description explaining how that person defies labels. Here must provide valid email address of nominee to verify approval of the nomination. Nomination period ends on April 7, 2016.

Preliminary Voting To Determine Sixteen (16) Semi–Finalists:

Once the nomination period closes, online voting will be held during April 8, 2016 to May 8, 2016 to narrow down the candidates to 16 semi-finalists. Later on, four finalists will be selected by an independent panel of judges following #defylabels criteria:

50% for originality/have chosen an unexpected path in life
30% for perceived contribution to the community in an unexpected way
20% for reputation/seen as creative, aspirational, etc.

Final Round of Online Voting To Determine Grand Prize Winner:

All four finalist entries will be posted on MINI-DefyLabels.com on May 30, 2016 for consumer voting to determine a Grand Prize Winner. Final round of Online Voting will close on June 30, 2016.

To finish, the Grand Prize Winner will be announced live from MINI takes the States in Atlanta and posted to the contest site on July 9, 2016.

Prizes:

One (1) Grand Prize: A two-year lease of MINI Clubman from their local dealer (ARV of $12,000)

Four (4) Finalist prizes: A 3–day/2–night trip for each Finalist to Atlanta, GA to join the kick-off of MINI TAKES THE STATES, the company's biennial cross-country rally for MINI owners, and will have the chance to participate in the rally(expenses paid by MINI). Trip includes airfare, ground transportation and hotel accommodations in Atlanta for winner and guest (ARV of $22,800).
