IKEA Tiny House Contest 2021

People across the country are happily swapping their homes for tiny houses to join the “Tiny Home Movement” that endorses minimalist sustainable living. Tiny houses teach the art of living minimally without compromising on style, luxury, and amenities. If you too want to join this tiny home movement, then participate in the IKEA scavenger hunt to win an IKEA tiny home without spending a dime. All you have to do is solve puzzles, unlock codes and write a short essay to enter the "IKEA Tiny Scavenger Hunt Contest".

Limit: You must be 18 years of age or above (19 in AL and NE) and an IKEA Family member at the time of entry. There is a limit of one entry per person/per IKEA family membership number.

How to Enter:

If you are not an IKEA Family member, then sign up for the program at www.ikea.com/us/en/ikea-family for free of charge.

To enter the contest, visit www.instagram.com/ikeausa and look for a “tiny puzzle” for the scavenger hunt. Just, solve the puzzles, follow the clues, and collect all six secret letters to form the secret password.

Contest Submission Period (May 12 to May 14, 2021)

Once you solve the puzzles & collect the 6 letters to the secret password, visit IKEA-USA.com/tinyhome and submit the entry form with your contact information and IKEA Family membership number. After that, submit a 2500 characters essay answering the question “How would this wonderful tiny home allow you to live a more sustainable life, and why is a sustainable lifestyle important to you?” and enter the 6 letters secret password. You will receive one entry into the contest.

Judging:

A qualified panel of judges will judge all the eligible contest submissions based on the following criteria:

• Submission clearly articulates how the entrant’s life can be more sustainable (35%)
• Submission is inspirational (35%)
• Submission articulates a unique story (20%)
• Spelling, grammar, punctuation, and overall organization (10%)

The entry with the highest score in the “how the entrant’s life can be more sustainable” category will be deemed the grand prize winner. The winner will be notified via e-mail and phone on or about June 1, 2021.

Prize

The grand prize winner will receive the IKEA tiny home worth $75,000 and $20,000 cash to cover estimated taxes.
