Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we all have called off our vacation plans, changed our lifestyles and many couples had even postponed/canceled their wedding. During these uncertain times, Hotels.com is making the situation at least somewhat better for these engaged couples by gifting them a virtual wedding and $5,000 cash for future honeymoon travel. So, couples who have postponed or canceled their wedding plans can participate in the Hotels.com Chaplain Obvious Vows Sweepstakes to win a virtual ceremony and a honeymoon fund.

Limit: Age requirement to enter the sweepstakes is at least 18 years. Only one entry per couple is allowed during the Sweepstakes Period.

How to Enter:

Visit www.hotels.com/page/chaplainobvioussweeps and provide your personal details such as name, email address, state, etc. You are also required to fill out a questionnaire asking a few technical questions and “why do you want Captain Obvious to marry you?”. Then, Share your virtual meeting link and select your preferred marriage ceremony date and time. Once you submit the form, you will receive one entry into the sweepstakes.

Judging:

Hotels.com will select up to four winners on May 20, 2020, based on the following judging criteria:

Originality – unique answer that relays couple’s desire to participate in Chaplain Obvious wedding ceremony (25%)
Creativity - ability to imaginatively share the reasoning for why an individual wants to participate in Chaplain Onvious wedding ceremony (35%)
Passion - individual showcasing desire and excitement to participate in Chaplain Obvious wedding ceremony (40%)

The four entries with the highest score will be the winners.
