Travelocity Roaming Gnome, a peripatetic brand character has been on the journey of a lifetime since eight years. His tale stated that he was kidnapped from a garden in Durham, N.C. and the kidnapper took him all over the world…and the little Gnome enjoyed it greatly and then he is going on traveling. Its main aim is to inspire everyone to get out and see the world. Now he wants to make some nabbing of his own. And for that he challenges all of you in Travelocity Gnome Nabbing Video Contest in which Gnome will nab one lucky contestant as winner and give him/her a chance for a free whirlwind trip all around the globe. Join the Roaming Gnome’s nabbing efforts and submit your video telling why you deserve to be ‘Nabbed by the Gnome’ in the contest for a chance to track the trip all around the globe or win other travel prizes. Limit: Age of each contestant must be 21 years old or older at the time of entry for entering into the contest and voters must be 14 years old or older at the time of voting to submit a Vote during the voting phases. One approved entry is allowed per contestant during the entire contest period.

The Travelocity Gnome Nabbing Video Contest comprises four different phases: Entry Phase, Initial Voting Phase, Initial Judging Phase, and Finalist Voting and Judging Phase.

Interested eligible individuals need to enter in the contest within the Entry Phase that runs until October 20, 2012. To participate, visit www.gnomenabbed.com and register for the contest as directed plus submit a video featuring why you deserve to be “Nabbed by the Gnome” along with a title in maximum 35 characters. Your video should be original and no longer than a one-minute. Keep in mind that your video entry must comply with the requirements of the rule.

With entry phase, the initial voting phase is also open for general public to see the contest entries and vote for their favorite entry. By simple log on to the contest website before October 27, 2012, any individuals can be voter for the contest and cast their vote for their favorite entry. There is a limit of one vote per video, per person per calendar day.

Following the conclusion of entry and initial voting phase, a total of 7 entries will be determined by public vote. Means the entries which have received highest votes will be finalist. As well, three judges' choice finalists will be announced based on originality, compelling story, on-camera presence, and ability to capture the spirit of the contest.

During the final phase from November 5-9, 2012, each ten finalist entries will be posted on website and eligible voters will be invited to return and log on to the Website for voting their favorite finalist. One voter can cast one vote only per video per day. At the end, all 10 finalists’ entries will be judged by the contest judges to declare one grand prize winner and nine first prize winners.

The grand prize winner of the contest will become Gnome Nabbed and will be given a chance to go on a free trip with one travel companion to a destination in the USA and five international destinations located within Europe, Asia and South America. Valued at $65,000, the grand prize trip includes all airfare, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, $200/person per diem towards meals, 25 USD $400 gift cards, plus winner will receive one gift card each day by a representative, up to $10,000 throughout the duration of the trip.

In addition, each nine finalist will be awarded with $2,000 cash in the form of check for a trip of their choosing.
