You can bring new tastes and textures to everything from soups and salads, to pastas and burger toppings by using eggs. If you have some inventive ways to showcase its versatility by using the egg for Breakfast, Main Course, Appetizer, and Dessert then take a step forward to enter the Eggland's Best "Your Best Recipe" Contest. You could win $10,000 or $1,000 by entering your best egg recipe in this contest. You need to use a minimum of two Eggland's Best Eggs as an ingredient in your recipe. What are you waiting for? Show your cooking talent to grab this fantastic chance.
Limit: Eight entries (two per Category) per person and per e-mail address for duration of Contest Period. Participants must be 18 years old or older, or reached at the age of majority in their province at the time of entry.
Visit www.egglandsbest.com/yourbestrecipe, complete the registration form by providing required information such as name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, email address, and your own recipe for the best and most creative use of eggs in one of the four categories like Breakfast; Main Course; Appetizer; and Dessert, then submit it during promotion period.
Winners will be selected in three tiers of judging. In first tier, sixty entries (fifteen from each Category) will be selected on the basis of judging criteria such as 25% for Availability of ingredients; 25% for Creativity; 25% for Ease of preparation; and 25% for Overall appeal from all eligible entries received during the entry period.
In second tier, top twenty entries (five from each Category) will be selected as semi finalists from selected sixty entries on the basis of judging criteria such as 40% for Ease of preparation; 30% for Availability of ingredients; 15% for Creativity; and 15% for Overall appeal. Semi-finalists will be contacted on or about August 31, 2012 by telephone and/or email.
Entries of 20 semi finalists will be posted on www.egglandsbest.com/yourbestrecipe, and www.facebook.com/egglandsbesteggs/app_251842034899170, for viewing and voting between September 20, 2012 at 12:00 PM ET and September 30, 2012 at 12:00 PM ET. In third tier, one Grand prize winner, and four category prize winners will be selected on the basis of judging criteria such as 30% for Taste; 30% for Presentation/Appearance; 30% for Creativity; and 10% for Online Voting.
One Grand prize winner will receive $10,000 in the form of a check.
Category prize winners will each receive $1,000 in the form of a check.
