Phase 1: Contest Entry

How to Enter in Lay's Do Us A Flavor Contest:

To participate in the Contest, visit dousaflavor.com during the Contest Entry Period. If you want to submit a flavor, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration form and submit your entry.

Creative Assignment:

For this Contest, your creative assignment is to propose a new flavor for LAY'S Potato Chips. Your submission must include the following:

• A unique flavor name.
• A brief story explaining why you chose this flavor and why you are the best person to suggest it (ideally 75-1000 characters).
• Your contact information, including your first and last name, email address, birthdate, mailing address and state of residence.

Lay's Do Us A Flavor Contest Judging Criteria & Winner Selection:

From February 24 to March 3, 2025, all eligible submissions received during the Contest Entry Period will be judged by a Sponsor-selected panel of experts based on the following criteria:

• 50%: The story behind why the flavor was chosen
• 25%: Originality and creativity
• 25%: Potential for a delicious, consumer-appealing, and executable* flavor for LAY'S potato chips

The three highest-scoring submissions will be selected as Finalists. The three Finalist Submissions will be developed by the Sponsor and produced as limited-time offerings ("Finalist Flavors"). These Finalist Flavors will be available for retail sale starting on or around April 21, 2025.

Phase 2: Voting Phase

Voting Period: April 21, 2025 to June 13, 2025

Participants (13 years or older) can visit the Website to vote for their favorite Finalist Flavor. The Finalist Flavors will be showcased in a gallery, and Participants may vote once per day by following the provided instructions. Additional voting platforms may be available, and updates will be posted on the Website starting April 21, 2025.

At the end of the Contest Voting Period, the Finalist Flavor with the most votes will be declared the Grand Prize Winner. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined based on the highest score in "story behind the flavor" and, if necessary, "potential for delicious, consumer-appealing, and executable flavor for LAY'S Potato Chips," followed by "original and creative." The Grand Prize Winner’s flavor will remain in the market until at least May 19, 2025, while the other Finalist Flavors may be phased out.

Two Finalist Winners will win $50000 Cash in form of check.

One grand prize winner will win One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) cash in form of check.
