Lots of people bring comfort, positivity, and happiness to the lives of people around them with their acts of kindness. In the celebration of the resort’s 50^th Anniversary, Disney is giving you a chance to recognize them. You can nominate yourself or someone you know in the “Disney Magic Makers Contest” to win them a trip to Walt Disney World Resort and a one-year subscription to Disney+. A total of 50 winners will be selected.

Limit: The minimum age to enter the contest is 18 years. There is a limit of 5 entries, per nominee per submitter.

How to Enter:

You can nominate yourself or someone you personally who has made a positive impact in the lives of others in their communities. The nominees must be at least 13 years old.

Entry Period:

Visit www.DisneyMagicMakers.com and click on the “Nominate” button. After that, complete and submit the registration form with your full name, city, state, e-mail address, daytime phone number (with area code), and relationship to the nominee.  You will be also asked to provide the nominee’s full name, city, and state. Then, submit 150 words essay describing why you are nominating the nominee and how the nominee goes above and beyond to help others in the nominee’s community.

Judging Period:

A panel of judges will score all the entries received during per contest entry period. 30 finalists will be selected from each entry period on the basis of the following judging criteria:

Action:

How does the nominee’s actions make the world a better place through creative, needs-based (COVID-19 or otherwise), imaginative, or otherwise extraordinary acts of good? Does the nominee utilize their individual talents when doing good?

Inspiration:

Does the nominee’s story warm your heart, make you want to tell your friends about their story, and inspire others to act?

Courageous Spirit:

When the nominee learned of a community need, did they go above and beyond to answer the call for help?

The 30 essays (per contest entry period) with the highest score will be advanced to the next phase of judging. The finalist entries will be again judged by another judging panel based on the above judging criteria. The essays with the highest final scores will be the winners. There will be 8 winners for contest entry period 1) and 7 winners for contest entry periods 2-7.

Prizes:

(8) Contest Entry Period 1:

Each winner will receive a 5-day/4- night vacation for four to Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, Florida, and a one-year subscription to Disney+ (if not already a Disney+ subscriber).

(42) Contest Entry Periods 2 through 7 (7 per contest entry period):

Each winner will receive a vacation for their group to the Resort and, one-year subscription to Disney+ (if not already a Disney+ subscriber).

Each vacation consists of roundtrip coach air transportation, round trip ground transfers, room accommodations for four consecutive nights, one welcome basket in Resort hotel room for the winner only, up to four 5-Day Resort theme park tickets with Park Hopper option, $500 Disney Gift Card, and one Memory Maker product.

The ARV of each Prize is $10,099.99 USD.
