Culver FFA Essay Contest: Win $15000 in Cash Prizes!

It is now more important than ever to find solutions for sustainable, climate-smart agriculture. Culver, a national restaurant chain, will support agricultural futures this year by awarding free cash money to empower students around the creation of a sustainable and resilient agricultural future. With its Thank You Farmers Project, they support our agricultural leaders both current and future. During National FFA Week, they have launched their ninth annual FFA Essay Contest, which will award cash prizes of $7,500, $5,000, and $2,500 to selected FFA chapters in order to pursue additional educational projects and learning initiatives. If you are an FFA member, tell us your story about "As an FFA member and future agricultural leader, what excites you about a movement like the Decade of Ag?", to participate in Culver's FFA Contest and win cash to pursue realistic agriculture project dream.

Limit: One entry is allowed per eligible person. The minimum age required to enter the contest is 13.

How to Enter Culver’s FFA Essay Contest:

Visit, culvers.com/essaycontest and complete the official entry form with all requested details including his/her first and complete last name (no initials), FFA chapter, FFA chapter state, FFA advisor name, FFA advisor phone number, and FFA advisor email and submit your essay in one of two forms – written format in .PDF file format or in the form of an mp4 video showing the entrant reading their essay.

Entry without entry form:

To Earn contest entry without submitting the entry form, just mail your essay, his/her first and complete last name (no initials), FFA chapter, FFA chapter state, FFA advisor name, FFA advisor phone number and FFA advisor email to [email protected].

Culver’s Essay Contest 2023 Winner Selection:

All entries will be judged by a qualified panel of judges on the basis of the following criteria:

• 40% based on quality (address prompt, clearly communicates ideas, relevant),
• 30% based on originality (original, effective examples, distinctive voice)
• 30% based on creativity (compelling, demonstrates a passion for the topic, interesting and informative).

The potential grand prize winners will be notified by email within 10 business days of August 1, 2023.

Culver’s FFA Contest Prizes:

The first-place FFA chapter will receive $7,500 to use for their FFA chapter’s trip to the National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana in November 2023 or another agricultural education opportunity.

The second-place FFA chapter will receive $5,000 to use for their FFA chapter’s trip to the National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana in November 2023 or another agricultural education opportunity.

The third-place FFA chapter will receive $2,500 to use for their FFA chapter’s trip to the National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana in November 2023 or another agricultural education opportunity.
