Limit

The Entrants Should be 18 years old (19 in Alabama and Nebraska; 21 in Mississippi) or older at the time of entry. There is a limit of one entry per person.

How to Enter McCormick Cookie Quest Contest

To enter the Contest, you must complete all of the following steps via your Instagram Account:

• (A) Share a favorite cookie recipe and (a) include a McCormick product in the recipe, or (b) tell us through your video or video caption (explained below) what McCormick seasoning, spice, or extract you would like to use in your holiday dishes;
• (B) Create a short 30-second to two-minute video of your cookie recipe that includes all four of the following: (i) A written list of all ingredients with measurements; (ii) Written or verbal baking instructions; (iii) Either (a) the McCormick product that you have actually included as a featured ingredient in your entry recipe, or (b) if you do not include a McCormick product in your recipe, then you must explain either within the Video or within the Video’s caption what McCormick seasoning, spice, or extract you would like to use in your holiday dishes; and An exhibition showing (a) the active creation/baking of the cookie in the recipe; and/or (b) the final version of the cookie in the recipe.

The Video must include all four elements described above, and must not show or mention any products, trademarks, logos, or labels except for those belonging to McCormick;

• (C) Log into your Instagram account and ensure your account is set to “public”;
• (D) Upload your Video to your Instagram page, ensuring the Video is visible to a public audience, then tag @mccormickspice and include the hashtags #McCormickCookieQuest and #Contest in the video and in the caption. Videos uploaded as a story will not be accepted.

McCormick Cookie Recipe Contest Winner Selection

All eligible Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges, who will judge each of those Submissions based on the following criteria:

• Originality (20 points): Submission should be unique and creative.
• Clarity (20 points): Submission should be clear and concise, easy to read, interpret, and recreate.
• Presentation (20 points): Submissions should show the baking journey or their final cookie. The final cookie should look appetizing, with content that is well-lit and easy to see. The entrant should bring their personality to life, be upbeat and passionate about baking and their recipe, and creatively tell a story.
• Brand fit (20 points): Show us your knowledge of how spice, seasoning, and extract products can enhance a cookie, as well as how your Submission is in line with McCormick brand personality, voice, and tone, and is overall appropriate for all ages in regard to setting, appearance, and themes.
• Holiday spirit (20 points): We want to see cookies that are perfect for the fall, winter, Thanksgiving, and/or holiday seasons!

The entrant whose Submission scores the highest will be selected as the potential Grand Prize winner.
