Celebrate Black History Month Art Contest

Difficulty Level : Moderate ( 3 out of 5 ) Celebrate Black History Month by submitting an original piece of art, photo or video in the 2015 Frito-Lay Black History Month Art Contest. Plus share it with the world and you could win up to $10,000 in cash prizes.

Limit: One Entry per person/email address. The entrant must be at least 18 years of age (19 in AL or NE) or older at the time of entry.

How to Enter: During the Contest Entry Period, submit an original work of art celebrating an African American Achievement in Black History along with a title and brief description.

To enter, participants must upload, post or tweet the entry via one of the following entry methods:

Web site: Visit www.celebrateblackhistory.com and follow the online instructions to access the registration page. Provide your name, full address, phone number, and email address on the online form, and then upload brief description (not exceed 250 words), photographs of artwork (Max size 4MB), and multimedia clips (length not exceed 5 min).

Twitter: Tweet your Entry as describe above via Twitter with the #myBHMentry hashtag.

Instagram: Post your Entry as defined above on your personal Instagram page with the #myBHMentry hashtag.

Voting: During the Contest Voting Period (Feb 15, 2015 - Feb 28 2015), visitors to the Web site, ages 13 and older, will be able to vote for their favorite Entry.

Judging: Top 25 Finalists entries will be judged by sponsor based on the Artistic Talent, Creativity and Black History Month Theme Cohesion

Winner Determination: Winners to be determined on or about March 24, 2015.

Prizes:

One Grand Prize: $10,000.

Second Prize: $5,000.

Third Prize: $2,500.
